About Odessa

Odessa Patton is a dedicated professional with a background in counseling, community development, and public service. As a MA, LPC Counseling Intern at Achieving Nirvana, LLC, Odessa provides holistic therapeutic approaches to individuals facing major depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and isolation.

Her commitment to public service extends to her role as a Councilwoman for the Borough of Lindenwold, where she actively participates in discussions on city policies, legislation, and budgeting. In addition to her council duties, she has served as a liaison for the Library, Historic, and Public Events Committee, contributing to the coordination of annual borough activities.

Odessa's passion for community development is evident in her founding of Village with an Open Heart, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing life, community, and business development services. She has also demonstrated her grant writing expertise as a Grants Administrator for Employment Network Team of New Jersey, securing funding for job development and training programs.

Odessa is currently pursuing a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, building upon her previous education in business administration and political science. She is a member of professional organizations such as the American Counseling Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Pi Kappa Theta Political Science Honor Society and Lindenwold Moose Lodge.
